Google Cloud is the most exciting technology out there and, modesty aside, Ancoris is probably the most exciting company to develop your career! So, we designed a programme to accelerate careers in Google Cloud: Ancoris Launchpad.

To support our Launchpad programme, and to ensure we share this opportunity with people from all walks of life, we partner with the community and non profit organizations, such as Generation. We’re committed to hiring and developing individuals who can demonstrate a passion for technology regardless of their background.

What’s Ancoris Launchpad?

Are you looking for your first job in tech? Would you like to switch careers? Or do you want to get into cloud computing and move away from a more traditional IT role?

Ancoris Launchpad will lift off your career in cloud computing and engineering, and more specifically in Google Cloud (where magic really happens). We’ve developed a 24 week industry-leading programme which will give you the tools to launch a successful career in one of our three tracks as a Cloud Engineer, Software Engineer or Data & AI Engineer. Our only requirement is that you have a demonstrable passion for technology, regardless of your background. And yes, this is a full time paid job!

What will I be doing during Ancoris Launchpad?

Stage 1: Onboarding

We want you to feel at home at Ancoris. Firstly you will be introduced to the company and your fellow Ancorians. You will attend activities, workshops, and training sessions covering many topics.

Stage 2: Consulting Skills

You will acquire the foundational skills needed in our customer facing teams. This phase will help you build and develop communication, collaboration, facilitation and consulting skills.

Stage 3: Job Specific

In this phase you work on learning ‘hands-on’ technical skills through on the job training, and shadowing projects our teams are working on.

Stage 4: Customer Projects

From this stage onwards, you will work more independently on your own projects with customers. The goal of this phase is to evaluate your progress as you near your Launchpad ‘Graduation’!

Stage 5: Launchpad Graduation 🎓

The program ends with a party! 🎉 We are committed to promoting our Launchpad graduates and continuing to fuel their growth as part of the Ancoris family.

You’ll be on a continuous journey of development and growth. Cloud computing and services are changing rapidly and it’s more important than ever to make sure that you are able to keep up and build a very valuable skill set with this in mind.
